Bumper Jack Question??
« on: March 09, 2004 - 09:57:37 AM »
Should the jack mast be perfectly straight or is it supposed to have a very slight curve to it? This is for a 1971 bumper jack if it matters.

Yeah, I think it should be straight as well. The seller that I purchased it from says they came like that from the factory...I don't  think so! It is curved forward....assuming you are viewing the mast as it would be used when jacking a car. It's not bent much, but for the money I paid it shouldn't be bent at all...especially since I asked him if it was bent before I bought it.
