Kinda weird but cool
« on: May 14, 2008 - 08:45:58 PM »
Just thought I would share this with you all.
Today is my 14 year wedding anniversary and thats why I was home today, spending time with my lady.By the afternoon it was real warm out and my wife decided to lay out in the sun in the backyard and I decided to head for the garage. While I was under the 71 Cuda getting frame measurements,a car pulls in the driveway and a guy gets out and starts walking towards the 69 Cuda sitting in the driveway. So I get out from under the 71 and walk out to meet him and he asks me if I bought this car in town years ago?Yep I answer and realize that I bought the car from him 14 years ago, because I bought it a week after I got back from my honeymoon.I have not seen him since I bought the car and found it really weird that he showed up on my anniversary, which means in two weeks I will have had this 69 Cuda 14 years.Oh and while he was here a friend rolled in the driveway with his latest purchase,a 97 Viper GTS.And I did manage to get the frt.frame assembly tacked into place on the 71.What a day,I hope you all had a great day too.

Hey Clown, what a coincidence!  Today is 14 years for me and my wife too!  I didn't spend any time working on the car, but I did order some parts from Az-Nick and talk to him about his Challenger purchase.   :bananasmi

I didn't get to drive the Viper---Yet.I was so taken in by everything I even forgot to get pics, but he only lives a few miles from here and I am sure I will see it real soon and I will snap some pics. And John is the guy I bought my 69 from and he stopped by again last night and I can tell he wants to ask if I'll sell it?He said it's the one car he has kicked himself for selling.
