Tool for trim removal
« on: May 15, 2008 - 03:34:50 PM »
Is there a special tool needed to remove the chrome trim around the windshield on a challenger convertible.  I need to remove mine and don't want to use a screw driver for fear of ruining the trim.  Thanks.

Dave

There is a tool for this that can be bought cheaply from auto tool suppliers or body shop supply companies.  I don't have any info with me but if you search you will find a few posts with pics.

I just finished removing all my trim last week. I bought a trim removal tool but found that a thin butter knife with a rounded end worked pretty good---better than the trim tool for me.  Ended up putting a chip in the top of my windshield with the tool.    :villagers:
