340 block, 440 core engine
« on: May 12, 2008 - 07:28:23 AM »
I have a '70 340 block: It's been stripped, cleaned, magnafluxed, and had one sleeve installed due to rust pits. Why spend the $$ on soemthing that hasn't been inspected for damage yet? This one's ready to be machined. $500 as it sits. I can properly sonic test it for those building big inch engines for another $100, AFTER the purchase price is paid in full.

I also have a 1967 complete 440 core engine. It was sold to me as a running engine, and has always been stored inside. It can be turned with a socket, and is missing the carb and distributor. Has low perf log manifolds on it, closed chamber 516 heads, and the sturdy forged crank. $700

Both are in CT. For a fee plus cost I will crate/ship.
