Yeah, that's a little rough looking, but I know you'll make it   :smokin:

I agree with Eric. It will sell for more as a clone. I know you can't buy one and set this aside. The only other thing I can suggest is a compromise.  Since so much is rough on the car anyway, keep the original hood, drivetrain and parts when you clone it and include them with the car when you sell it. This way you will get the most out of the car and the originality can still be restored in the future.

Okay, so if I decide to do the car instead of testing the waters once I have it whole again, then adding some dual exhaust, 4 barrel, or possibly dropping in a bigger engine, adding a RR Hood, installing a set of Rallye Rims are all in order.  Should I paint it the original color scheme?  It was GY8 Gold exterior with black canopy vinyl roof.  Keep the Light Gold Interior or make it black? :clueless:

If the seats are bad anyway I would go with black. The whole car would look great black on black. I would keep a good piece of the unpholstry for a future color match.

:roflsmiley: There is no good upholstery  :roflsmiley:

Not sure if I have the time or the skills for doing this car black.  If I change the color, I was leaning towards something like Blue with a white gut...Or there's always, yellow & black...

Red with a black interior is the universal seller. Red may hide blemishes beter than blue. It would depend on the shade of either color.
