Yeah, that happens. Not only did we have snow, but ralso ain, thunder storms, and a few toronados, but none of them touched down.

When I got married on May 1st ten years ago, we had enough snow that day we had to have alternate plans to get hitched. The place we had scheduled was under 2 feet of snow and basically inaccessible.

About 15 years ago the Pike Peak Hillclimb, which is held around July 4th, had the finish line moved 1/2" mile down from the summit because of snow.

Never know what you might get around here.

We got 2 or 3 inch's here in Salida.  Deepest in the county low lands is about 6 inch's.  I have a buddy up by the continental divide and he says he got about two feet of snow.
Most of the snow is already melted off the ground here in Salida.  They don't call this place the banana belt for nothing.  Blue skies and beautiful mountains.
We really needed this snow anyway.  Hasn't been the best year.  There is already fire bans in several parts of the state.
This snow will help my fishing trip in may alot!!!

Highest accumulations in my neck of the woods were around the Monument hill area, about 2 feet. It tapered off as you went south and in the middle of C springs, I got about 8-9 inches.
Most of it is gone already, except for some spots on the grass.  Since it is the heavy, wet stuff, my lawn is lookin green, green, green.
