Thanks for any help with solving my dilemma:

I converted my '70 to electronic ignition and I'm not sure where I want to locate the ignition module. I'm trying to keep the car looking as stock as possible. My choices are:

1. Mount inside the firewall. Drawback: I would have to cut and reattach the plug to get the wires through the firewall.
2: Mount inside the cowl. Drawback: - is it too wet in there?
3. Mount on the outside of the firewall. Drawback: probably no place where the module would be out of sight and not exposed to the elements.

What have you done with your conversion? I appreciate any comments.

Put it underneath the battery tray. I do this with all my installs. It is hidden but still sits in some airflow for cooling.
