Door glass problem
« on: April 27, 2008 - 10:24:47 AM »
If you grab either side of the door glass on my Challenger you can move it up and down.In rolling it up you have to pull up an the front to get all the way up. The guides look okay, could it be the regulator?

Thanks,Dave

I do not see it being the regulator , you must be missing part of the guide pieces

It pretty much went together like the passenger door which works fine.

To make a long story short someone else took them apart and put all the parts in a box.Even with a guy from a glass co. it was a struggle to get it back together.I ended up with the bracket looking pieces with a rubber cap on them left over.Just couldn't find any place for them in the doors or quarters.

I have a 70 shop manual but it doesn't get into that fine of detail.

Hi

I belive that are the upper stops in doors. There are a hole in the glass so you can adjust the stops when the glass are in and up.

Hope its helps. If not do you have a picture of the bracket.

See picture

Best regards
