My bracket car has the full reverse pattern manual valve
body in the transmission

It won't shift unless I shift it and there is no chance of
throwing it in reverse because third gear is on the
bottom. High performance and very safe.
i got the same, love it.

LOL!!  ;) I'll definitely be doing a few burnouts in it's time, I'd have to for two reasons.

#1 For a photo.
#2 It'd be rude not to!  8)

But I'd rather use that grunt and engine spark on whipping some ricies and phords!  ;D
I won't be doing them on request for some bogon or when I'm bored, maybe squeel them off the marks but it's the orginal block so I've got to take some care.  ;)

Cheers,
Carl

so what your saying is my car will only bite a little if any with 245/60/15x8 street tires?

Street cars are a different animal

The best 60 foot time you can get on street tires is
gonna be over 2 seconds so taking care of the mid
range is the best strategy on the street.
nothing pulls like a big block in that arena but there are
some things you can do to limit tire slip..

My bracket car is done pulling at 1000 feet and I'm just
along for the ride at that point.
Won alot of rounds along the way though 8)
