dimensions for 71 side scoop mounting

just got my quarter panel scoops from yr1... need to know where to drill the holes to mount them... help is much appreciated!......anyone else buy scoops from them? i was not impressed... the gel coat was spider-webbed almost all the way across the scoop. not a bid deal but i would expect a little better at $130 per pair

Here's some outside dimensions. I now have the scoops off so if you need measurements to the holes I could get those tomorrow night. I'm going to make a tracing paper template so I have it for my new quarter locations.

I see my first picture has a blur from the flash on my dimension. 
It is 3 7/16" from the body line to the top of the scoop.

Here's another set. Might be from a thread on this site, maybe another site though. Either way, not off of my car, just a good reference I found.



I think they mentioned that they weren't exactly the same side to side, so even the factory had template issues...

I thought you received a template for marking holes when you bought a new set of repro quarter scoops? I know because I toyed with the idea of cloning my 71 to R/T. The catalog was an 05 or 06 YO so maybe they quit including the templates?
