Panther Pink Rag
« on: December 04, 2001 - 08:14:29 AM »
Does anyone remember the Panther Pink convertible that was sold on ebay about 6 months ago. It was completely gutted and there was pretty much nothing left. The top was gone and the doors and other misc. parts were laying inside the car. Someone had painted it green but the pink was visible where the interior used to be. I think it went for around $20k+. I was just wondering if anyone had saved any of the pics.

I don't remember if it was a Hemi or not. There was a bunch of hype about it being an original pink car. Maybe there were very few of them made that year. ?? ? Don't quote me on the 20k part as I don't remember exactly what the price was, but it was up there, way up there. I should have saved the info and pics.  :( The pictures were taken from a junkyard or maybe someone's large collection.

Why so much? ??? I mean, they are rare, but $20k for a completly gutted car that was repainted green? It had to have a motor..... :P

Was that the one where absoultely nothing was left on the car? Was it the completely rust-free shell or the one that was rusty and need floor replacement? I think it went for around $10,000 but could be wrong.
