Drip rail fabrication

Upon removing my drip rail chrome trim, I noticed the panel they screw onto is rusted through.
Does anyone reproduce these drip rail panels... or anyone have experience fabricating them?

I have the same issue. I see AMD (Auto Metal Direct) is or will be repopping drip rails, but I don't know by the picture if it's the correct "inner" flange where the trim screws to or just the outer wrap around metal? Anyone? If not it looks to be a pretty flat piece so I should be able to fab a new section.

Me too...
I tried just welding in some flat sheet but there wasn't much to weld to .
The driver side is worse...

The link from AMD says drip rail. This looks to be the actual outer drip rail? What do you guys think? What is the section we are talking about called-the support? I'm not certain?

I have to takes some other pics since I fixed the flange. All the surface rust can be cleaned off. The bottom side is really clean.
Driver and passenger side are both up for grabs.
I would gladly trade, I am in need of random parts.

Are AMD's the inner support or the actual drip rail? I do need a passenger side! (the inner support where the trim screws to)

Dan, I'd need most of the passenger side. I think the drivers side might make it after media blasting but not sure. PM me what you need for either one PS or both sides. Zip 80516 Erie, CO.
Thanks!!!!
