« on: June 03, 2008 - 08:32:03 PM »
i mounted a switched battery cut off on fender well. i run positive battery cable from battery in trunk to one side, a heavy red wire from starter to the other.on the starter wire side i added a msd box wire and a wire from solenoid to the starter side. using the switch i could turn off all power.there was power on both sides when the switch was turned off, did i get a bad switch or something im over looking. You were alot of help before, hopefully you understand my question, thanks

Do you have a picture of the switch, also how are you checking for power on both sides?

Was the car running when you tried?  Alternator amp wire would be juicing everything up
