the only one that I know that has correct switches is Brewers. they are about 400.00
I think they are $250 - check the site

I'll go ahead and ground the relay for now to keep things moving forward and keep my eyes open for a safety switch in the in the future.  Are originals safety switches hard to come by? 


 Run a female spade type connector at the relay and wire it too the major ground on the front radiator support. Connect it to the proper post and the ground will be complete.

Turning the key to start while in gear will send the vehical in motion so be careful.  When you find a clutch switch simply unplug it and connect the clutch switch "green wire" to the same post.  :2cents:

  I keep the clutch switch bypass in place, and ready, as the factory switch is known to fail. There is an easy fix for them though. :naughty:

WOW, I had no idea these were so expensive  :faint:  I always engage the clutch before starting a vehicle anyway to be safe. but for that kind of money, I'll have to wait for a switch to fall from the sky!  Seems like it would be pretty easy to use another type of switch to ground the circuit.  Anyone solve this with cheap parts?

Maybe a door pin switch or a brake light switch?  :dunno:

I used a brake lite switch to get by an inspection here , , it doesn`t work right in that the clutch only needs to be depressed 1" or so , but the car will not start without moving the clutch at least
