    Can you tell the build date froma cars vin number ? its a 70 cuda

    You can break it down to near what it is if you know more cars with a similar Vin, but you can tell the actual day built by the fender tag if you have it ? :2thumbs:

    Build dates listed on tags and broadcast sheets were an approximation; not an exact date. You can get a pretty good 'guesstimation' by comparing your VIN to cars with VINs close to you and compare their SPDs but you will never know the actual assembly date.

    also there is a site where you can order that vin tag and also all the decals for the car i seem to have lost it does any one know the site i'm talking about

    great thanks you wouldn't happen to have more pictures of it by chance or any history of it . I bought it from Dave at Totally auto off ebay 4 or 5 years ago.
