all the comments aside I have seen the car in person several times and its an awesome show of craftsmanship.....for that I can respect the builder.....

I was at the parts counter at Year One and hear this loud rumble and up comes this Cuda....what an awesome sounding car.....

to build something that that takes a lot of talent and for that I think its a cool car.......

Bob Johnson, the original owner of the car, is a car guy through and through. He is not, however, a mopar guy. He has no brand loyalty nor marque specific dedication. He delights in tilting perceptions, which includes tweaking  peoples perceptions of restorations and performance.

While there are aspects of the build I wouldn't have done if it were mine, overall there are a lot of really neat things about it. You may not like the car, you may not like the guy, but no one can deny that it took a lot of time, effort, and money to create such a unique vehicle.

:iagree: :iagree: ...not to forget great talent and craftmanship.

Btw i don't give a damn about "brand loyalty" either. I'm not driving a Challenger because it's a Mopar, i'm driving it because E-bodies are some of the most amazing and outstanding musclecars ever built. I love the Charger nearly as much as the Challenger, but there are also plenty of awesome non-Mopar classics that i'd love to drive or even own one day.

i would love to see what it could do on the 'top gear' test track with the stig at the wheel.  perfect weight distribution, 2800lbs, 870hp (+300 nos!), corvette suspension...

you american guys familiar with that program (top gear)?

Top Gear Rocks! I would love to see The Stig get his hands on it.

You can love it or hate it, but I think everybody can agree they could have done a heck of a lot worse. Even though it's not my style I love it.

Give it to Tiff Needle (5th Gear), who I personally believe IS the Stig. Tiff's the man.

Top Gear will probably fill it with water, set it on fire or redecorate the interior like a house..... :P
