Nice work, and LOTS of it!   :2thumbs:

How did you strip all that paint, chemical?  If so, what kind?  What is your sheet metal source?

Hey mrbill  - I use AirCarft Stripper. Each time you "paint" it on you get a layer or two off. I put it on 3x, then sanded the OEM primer off. It's a bit of a proces, but MUCH less dust in the shop than grinding/sanding it all off!

The sheetmetal was all from CrossCan - where they sourced it from I'm not sure - but it was BAD though! I bought it all from the guy selling the car - who was in the local Mopar Club, so I thought he knew better. Next time I'll do more research - like asking you guys!!

Looking good. They don't all start off perfect. I have alot of respect for guys like yourself that are do-it-yourself guys and really can do a sweet job. I restore cars and sometimes I really get caught up in all the perfection stuff and forget the fun times that I had tinkering and enjoying what you are doing. Enjoying the car! Keep up the great work! :2thumbs:

WOW, thanks again for the kind words. Here's a pic of the LAST coat of high build primer!! It's going to get a final wet sand (out in the sun!) next week, then strip it down again, paint the inners, reverse mask and paint the outside!!

This is month 16, so I'm looking forward to getting the thing painted and do the re-assemble. I'm gonna be asking for some input once the stripes and interior are ready to go togther!! Thanks again!
