O - Ring for speedo gear
« on: June 22, 2008 - 05:52:57 PM »
Anyone know the part number or size for the o-ring that goes to the speedo gear housing on a 727 TF. I replaced my speedo gear and I think I may have pinched the ring because its now leaking.

Things might just need tightened more.  :dunno: My speedo cable was a tad loose, and that caused my leak.

I think this might interest you, if indeed it is the gasket.

Check out Year One, Item #FD57046. I would post the link, but Year One won't let me.  :screwy:

Try your local transmission shop first!  The guy at mine had a small drawer full of them and just handed me one and said it wasn't worth ringing up. :2thumbs:
