Suggestions for A/C condenser and dryer mounting brackets?
« on: June 22, 2008 - 08:24:46 AM »
Ok, I have to get the a/c finally plumbed and connected between the new 6.1 Hemi and '71 Cuda.

When I stripped the car for paint, I had no intentions on keeping the a/c so I tossed the condenser brackets and receiver/dryer bracket as well  :pullinghair:

anyhow, I need to make/purchase some new hardware to attach the new Bouchillon Perf condenser and receiver/dryer. Any suggestions on some nice brackets?

Thanks!

Bouchillion offer any mounting solutions for you? Maybe scroll through the summit catalog, might find something you can use. Also maybe something at a junkyard could be cleaned up, but it wouldn't be too 'fancy'.

bouchillon and old air prodcts.

the only brackets for the condenser, are the two "L" brackets that come down from the front near the hood latch.  on the bottom it just bolts in with holes in the rad support.

If your condenser isnt a factory repro, than it wont matter if the parts or correct or anything and its a good chance that the factory ones might not have worked on a universal style condenser ?   (if thats what you got)

might get a recvr/dryer bracket on ebay if the above two sources dont have it.

might have to fabricate

I have one of the L brackets and you are welcome to it.

I am not sure what the r/d bracket looks like, but if someone can post a photo I can look through my stuff.  :clueless:
