my old tapered roller bearings are stuffed, so i got a green bearing kit to replace em. i know heaps of guys say don't use the ball bearings due to longevity issues, but i
had trouble finding stock style kits for less than a hideous amount of money, and i know people running the green bearings without issue. plus i need to replace the bearings
before taking my car on a road trip next weekend, and there was no way i could get a stock type kit in time.
so basically i'm asking anyone who has experience with installing the green bearings if they have any advice etc...
i know some people find they need to shorten the axles by up to a 1/8 inch sometimes. what do you do about the old adjuster? just bolt everything up tight?
