I apologize in advance for digging up an old thread, but I feel compelled to comment...

What the C-C members that participated in this build did is truly heartwarming.  Your unselfish actions taken to make one service member's dream come true is awe inspiring.  I just read the article in MM and that's what lead me to the site.  It’s a breath of fresh air to see what this forum has done for SFC Moore.  I’m coming up on 16 years in the Air Force and the occasional ‘thank you’ I get when wearing my uniform in public is more than enough to motivate me to keep giving 100%, but what you guys and gals did is over the top – first class all the way!!!

Don,
Be safe and take care!  I have family in the Clarksville area (father-in-law is retired Army) that we visit often.  I’ll be keeping an eye out for that Cuda – hopefully you’ll have it out on the street at Christmas or better yet…sooner!!!  You and your family will be in out thoughts and prayers (I had my wife read the article too)!

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Don,
I can definately understand not taking it out - if not the snow, the other people driving in the snow!!!  LOL!  I'll definately get in touch with you and let you know what our plans are.  I don't see it being a problem to sneak away from the family to meet you and have a look-see at your car.

Take care!
Sean
