Man you guys drool over the oldies - I'll take the new Audi R8 ANY day....  What a sexy freakin' car.   :droolingbounce:

We were rolling down the Autobahn at about 160 kph when one of those bad boys went by in the Left lane like we had a parachute on.  What a beautiful car!

We all share the obession with motorized mayhem no mmatter what the badge is on the machine , I may not own or even want to own other makes but I sure can appreciate them . If I had the resources I am sure I would be like Leno & into all kinds of stuff Flying & Boats interest me as well but no way I have the funds for that although I was tuning a 21 ' boat last week that is easily capable of 100 MPH , we had it up to 80 while I was tunign it , what a blast  :2thumbs:

Beautiful pics!  Love to see old european car along with Shelby stuff.  :grinyes:

:clueless:  What was the car in pic IMG_0496big.JPG , the silver #55 car?  :dunno:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

They only built around one hundred of them over a several year span.  And we think it is tough to find a nice Cuda grill!

Wow!  Talk about rare and exclusive!  :faint:

Have you ever seen an Intermeccanica Italia?  I went to see one locally about 5 years ago.  It has an Italian body with a Ford sb V8.  This particular one I went to see had a Holman Moody Boss 302 installed in it from the factory, supposedly over 400hp!  I really wanted it but I had the Challenger and no $$$.  The gentleman had cancer and wanted to sell it for only $16k.  I thought of the headache of maintaining it and finding parts and figured it wasn't right for me.  These were NOT kit cars.

Here's a pic of one, not the one I saw but like it.  The one I saw was black and had Magnum 500 style rims.

That is a nice looking car.  Im pretty sure I saw a red one with magnum 500s at Road America a few years ago.  I remember beause I thought it was weird with the Magnum rims on it and then I went over to it and saw that it also had the Ford small block in it.  The owner wasn't around so I don't know much about it.
Too bad you couldn't pick that one up for 16k.  It would have been a steal.
