I know its not a Mopar but it has been a good truck. I have wanted to get a hypertech or similar controller for the engine for some time in it and now with gas prices the way they are every little bit helps. Do any of you have experience with different makes of aftermarket controllers? I am looking for quality but also a place I might not know of that offers them at less than 400 bucks. BTW, its a 5.7 vortech. Thanks for any and all information,
Brett

I have used Hypertech programmers on Ram trucks etc with good results , never on the GMs , I have also use the Diablo programmers on the Ram & Ford diesels with excellent results

I also use programmers both hypertech and bully dog, I get a couple of miles per gallon better fuel every time if I stay in the economy mode.

I bought a program for my duramax. Wasnt really worried about mileage. But it gives me 180 more hp and 260 more tq. Also turned it up to run 125 mph. I do get about 1.5 mpg better when towing.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have wanted unlimited top end and more power for a while but am using the mileage angle to talk the better half into it
