70 RT exhaust tip pics
« on: July 01, 2008 - 12:18:52 AM »
Hey guys I just got my Challenger on the road for the first time in 12 years.  I have an appt. with the exhaust man on Thurs and need a good front and side pic of correct spacing for rt exhaust tips.  Any help or reference would be greatly appreciated.  I have one good shot from some advertising back in the day but I would like esp. the side view.  Thanks  Skid

I noticed the old blue plates, I'm in eastern Oregon myself and I've got a '70 R/T SE. I've never seen your car anywhere so you must be on the west side?

Yes,  Tigard.  Its my first car.  I bought it in 1984 at age 17.  Dad wouldn't let me get a v-8 so it started life as a /6.  It don't have that anymore.  I have a blog on the restoration section that describes my journey.  Yes, one of my favorite parts of the car is the license plate.  Shows its an Oregon original. You?  Where-abouts are you from again?  I get to eastern oregon for my job lots.  Was in Joseph not too long ago.  Skid
