Looking to buy Electronic conv kit..any suggestions

Its for my WELL built 340 ...higher RPMs...want to look original as possible.

What kit should i get and where should i buy it?

Don't look original but it'll work a whole lot better than that old Chrysler setup and has a one wire hookup. You can run .055" plug gaps with this one.

I would skip FBO , I have had nothing but problems with the FBO systems , the coil draws too much power & the ballast lasts a day or 2 max on every car I have ever installed it on , the ECU is the only FBO part that actually works better then Mopars Orange ECU

"ECU" is the acronym for Electronic Control Unit.

My FBO setup is 4 years old. No problems. It uses the MSD .8 ohm ballast resistor. It starts far easier than with my old stock setup. I only went with the FBO coil and ECU, I used the Mopar distributor.

I went the cheapy short way a few minutes ago. I went to car quest and bought a rebuilt 72 electronic ignition from a 72 newyorker for 41 bucks, then bought a 72 340 cuda elctronic box for 41.70. The harness kit is 19/23 bucks, but Bullitt99 is donating me one this week. I am hoping to have it all installed this week, and under 100 bucks for oem stuff
