a 440 6 pak Question

did 440+6 ever come with ac looking to put ac :feedback: :feedback: on my 71 runner with air grabber but dont know if it will fit

the new kits using the Sanden compresser will fit with just a small amount of trimming on the air cleaner base , the original style 2v pump will not fit

I have also seen kits that will allow you to "under mount" the compressor, though you will have to remove the fuel pump and go with an electric one.

if you run the lines to the Sanden compressor right, you shouldnt have to trim the base.     

I have the AC/and the sixpack in my car.

thanks for all the input , will the sanden compresser work with the stock plumbing, and brackets  ,and do you guys know if small and big block brackets are he same . so ac was not an option on 6 pac or air grabber /shaker cars I never really paid much atension ,

small and big block brackets are not the same,       in fact 383 and 440 brackets are not the same.


sanden will not work with stock brackets.    you need to check out bouchillon.com 

you can have your original hoses that attach to the compressor re-done so that they will match up to the compressor.

youll need a cycle switch too with the sanden.
