Okay, I am considering tesing the waters with my R/T. I really do not want to sell it since it is the first real R/T I've had in a LONG time. However, I have also come to HATE debt and really want to get my debt snow ball rolling. As for the car, it is a numbers matching 383 727 car. I have confirmed that the enigne numbers match the VIN but have not looked at the tranny yet. The car was originally an FK5 Dark Burnt Orange car with a white vinyl roof and burnt orange interior. I had to weld a few patches into it including the passenger lower rear quarter panel and a few around the lower windshield area. The rook had some pitting in it that I treated with rust killer as well as filling the offending areas. The trunk floor is pretty solid and so are the floors. I ony had to patch one small area of the floor where the driver's left foot goes. It still needs the driver side lower quarter patched. The fender and doors are solid. Frame rails are perfect. Unfortunately, I was never able to find a build sheet and the fender tag is missing. What I know about the car comes from taking her apart. It has front disk brakes and sway bar. I have already purchased some parts for the car as well as the base coat to re-shoot the car FK5. I have new carpeting, black legendary front seat covers, black, carpet, black vinyl roof top, exhaust tips, resonators, a new set of 15" Rallye Rims with trim rings and centers, plus a bunch of other stuff. I was planning on changing the interior color to black and was even considering changing the color to black as well. The engine and tranny will need a rebuild as I do not know their actual conditions.
I've repainted the engine compartment already but am not 100% satisfied so someone may want repaint it. I'll post some more recent pics of it as soon as I can.
Bottom line - what is it worth? I have not been following the market at all lately and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
