It's probably priced about right. It's a non numbers matching car with an automatic transmission and a buldge hood. If it was a 4 speed car, numbers matching and a shaker hood car it would be worth a fair amount more.

Get the fender tag info, and a pic of the cowl and radiator support numbers to see if the car is a legit Cuda and not a re-body.

Maybe a member is close to it and get a look at it for you. 45K for a 71 Cuda 340 auto is around market, maybe a little high depending on condition, color, and options.

I saw it also the other day on Cuda-World. I'm suprised he didn't have a picture of the fender tag and VIN. I was at BJ, watched a nice 4-speed with Shaker just like this one go through for around $70,000. I think prices are still headed downwards for the next year at least.
When I was at BJ talking to guys I was suprised how many of these private people (not dealers) were using banks and home equity to buy cars which I think is risky.  :nono: I don't think you could do that today.
Another worthless 2 cents from me

I'd say that is a good price if it is a real Cuda, and depending on the quality of the car.  The market is definitely down right now, no telling how low it could go, or if/when it is going back up.  Not much is selling.  I keep seeing the same cars on Ebay over and over again, and not much on Cudaworld has moved.

My advice, as always, is go see the car and take a magnet with you.  Pictures NEVER do a car justice.  I only buy about 50% of the cars I go to see, and I only go see cars I'm pretty sure are coming home with me.  So 50% of the time I find stuff that I couldn't see in the pics that are deal breakers.
