Heard some good news...

I heard this on another site, sounds good to me! 

I will not reveal my sources, but one or two here can verify this information.
For 2009 The Patriot, Caliber and Compass get face lifts, new interiors and other goodies. The new 1500 Ram will be quite a vehicle. Don't panic at it's car like ride and handling, the 2500 and up will remain heavy duty work trucks.
The designer of the original Caliber AND the Compass, was fired.

The M80 Concept Truck is going to get built!

The Hornet Concept is going to get built!

A New Ram is coming in 2010, A New Jeep with a diesel!

Olive Green is the number one selling color at Jeep.

A BASE model spartan work truck, with rubber floors and "hose-out" cleaning in the Ram as well as the Jeep. The humongous but cool, center console is optional!

Great stuff!
Models are rolling off the assembly lines as you read this. Chrysler will be back with a vengeance!

Personally, I don't think the Caliber looks bad, got way more character than most econoboxes out there. Wouldn't mind owning a Caliber R/T AWD one day.
But it's good to see that there's some fighting spirit at Chrysler these days!

I am not sure all of this will happen since Chrysler's sales are way down.  I mean that I would not be surprised if they cut a couple models and do not replace them.

horrible news since i just bought my 2008 caliber srt in december......now I can look at an 09 with a better interior and such for the next 5 years as i make my payments....gee thanks ma mopar you could've waited at least 2 years to let me feel like I have something new....rasem frasem
