Decided to join in
« on: July 31, 2008 - 10:27:07 PM »
I've been checking out the forum for some time, and finally decided to dive in. My location is Green Bay, WI. As an avid E body fan and owner, I am hoping to find some answers to my occasional questions. My current car is a 73 Barracuda with a slightly modified 70 340 and a 727 tranny with a shift kit. Exhaust starts with the older 340 hp manifolds connected to a dual 2 1/2" system. The car is in decent shape and a good driver, but there are still a few things to finish, but I may need a little advice. I will look for the appropriate section to post questions I may have. I know my first question will be about the difference between a 73 and 74 rear bumper. I will go into detail later in the proper part of the forum.  SGA

Updated - photo now on.
I placed a question in "The Body Shop" about the bumpers. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the site - you'll find lots of help here for all your questions.

Now, your biggest problem is that you're an E-body owner and you didn't post a pic of your car.  Because you know (everyone together now!!):

 Welcome to the site.  Your '73 is very sharp looking.  I like the painted roof with the black interior, and also the white stripes.  I really like the color combination.  How long have you owned your Cuda?  Glad you and your Cuda decided to dive in.  I'd like to see more pictures of your '73.

 hooD,
I like your Cuda, and truthfully have always been a fan of the vinyl roof. I've had my Cuda for four years now. It is my second 73, and I'll try to take some more photos in the near future.  SGA

Welcome to the site!  It's cool to see we finally picked up another WI member and that you're only about 2 hours south of me. :2thumbs:  So do you know the avid MoPar guy (Ace) from around that area?  The last I knew, he purchased two 'Cudas, one being a 340-4 bbl and the other was equipped with I believe a 440-6 and both cars had factory shakers.  He was/is(?) the regional manager of Checker Auto Parts the last I knew (I even purchased my 340 from his brother and he brought it up to me one night while I was at work).  Anyways, welcome to the site and very nice Barracuda!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Mopar guys are the best.   Street_Challenged7 -- No, I have not met your buddy down here in Green Bay. Funny though, I have a Checker near me and have bought a number of things from them. SGA
