The only thing I've ever heard of similar to that was that NOS T/A shell (something like that)  that was for sale a while back, direct from Ma herself...

doubt anyone has a kit, but if they do, I have the assembly manual.....
most of the time you see these sold that are old circle track cars
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

No kidding?! Would it be hard to make copies? Are they the full size blueprints or a 8.5x11 manual?

The kit car program ran from roughly 1975 to 1980. While the prototypes were Challengers developed by Petty Enterprises, the actual cars sold via the program were skinned as A body Darts and F body Volares. Yes, they were sold as short track, oval racing cars. Although the Unser's ran them up Pikes Peak a few years as well.

They were a package that could be bought as complete, turn key car, or in an state of assembly form a basic rollcage to a rolling chassis to the complete car. They could be bought with a 355 W2 motor, quick change rear, huge four wheel disc brakes, and a host of Grand National ( Nextel Cup) capable equipment.

They do occasionally pop up on Ebay from time to time. Most are usually pretty ratty and still skinned as F bodies, so they tend to get overlooked pretty frequently.

Does it come with a tube of glue?  Looks like a giant model car kit!  :roflsmiley:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

The one I have is an 8 1/2 x 11 manual. I haven't looked at it in a while, but I want to say it is about 80 pages give or take

Nah, I can probably scan it and email it to you. The difficult part will be finding where it is....

Found it!

but my mind isn't what it used to be, it's a parts catalogue. Some info on spring rates, part numbers and more, maybe this was as close as they got to an assembly manual?

If thats for a real car, does that mean the instructions are 8.5' X 11' ?  :clueless:

I have heard the assembly blue prints are actually full sized, i.e. they are as big as the car. This was so you can lay out the car as you built it and verify measurements.

That is a very cool catalog. Anyone notice the torsion bars sizes? They start at 1.06 and go up to 1.38.
