Silent Auction
« on: August 04, 2008 - 08:23:10 PM »
Being that only 500 2008 Challengers were made available in Canada they are more than rare here in Edmonton and because the interest is so overwhelming Stony Plain Chrysler isn't even selling them on a 1st come 1st serve base instead they are holding a silent auction...you go in and leave a bid...then on the 15th of August someone is going to get a phone call at lunch time  :cooldancing:

On the news today they said a very anxious new owner paid well over the suggested $50,000 to get their hands on one at Southtown Chrysler

 :money:

One of the Dodge dealers here in Miami has 4 of the new Challengers.

They are trying to get $30,000 over sticker!!!!!!

Nice cars, but not at that price.

Finally saw me a Canadian Challenger :smokin:

This week is Rock'n August...it's an international car show and music festival that takes place in St. Albert...a suburb of Edmonton

Tonight there had to be about 500 classics as well as some more modern vehicles on display...it is just a fun time...music...dancing and cars!!

Probably two parking lots worth and the second parking lot.....I found this !! With the 500 badge

Sorry this one is not so clear

The trunk lol

Really beautiful car...the owner was very friendly and open to talk...overheard some guy ask him if this was the car that sold for over $50,000...didn't really catch the answer...just something about being sold thru an auction...
