Ok, it's 1969 late. Dad is still in the army, from what i have been told Dad orders this 'Cuda 340 pistolgrip 4spd 391 suregrip.
His Mom picks up the car, but does not know how to drive a stick. Drives it all the way home in 1 gear, calls the dealership, tells them there's something wrong with the car. My grandparents were 100% Mopar at the time and good friends with the owners, all she asked for was that they bring it back out and before Dad came home. Thats all i know on this part.
Ok, now Dads home, he is dating Mom. Her Mom and Dad hated that car, too loud. Dad had the car 10 years, so i find these pics 1 day and ask Dad about them. I say "you had a 70 cuda front rubber bumper car", "yes", "well tell me stories", "i got that car and i stuck a 456 gear in it", i say "no u did not".
This story will jump back and forth, so its 2002 and i am at a gas station and this guy walks up to me and says "u in to 'Cudas", i had a 'Cuda shirt on and i say "all Mopars". He says he was a wrench for dealership from 1968 to 1974 from the town i am from. I say "did you ever work on a purple 'Cuda ?". He says "yes" and told me who owned the car and says my Dads name and also said he hated that car. I ask why ? in his words "that dam kid who owned that car stuck 456's in, hell you could start in 3rd"..................  more to come later Dad did say he payed 3800 hundred and some change for it, will tell more later if thats ok

I wacked some commers and crap in to make it a little easier to read. :2thumbs:

 :wow:
Didn't pick up the kitty up front! If I am not mistaken the code for the kitty was a70, homing radar option! You know how it was back then eh!

This thought may not be politically correct, but is an opinion offered. It may be correct? or it may be wrong? It is not designed to appease those needing shelter from the real world.

,.,.,.,..,.,.,. Please! It's very hard to read long post when you don't use correct grammar. I love your story and pictures! Hope to see more! Ask your dad if he ever raced it, would love to hear some kill storys from back in the day!
