And, what size do the photos need to be? do we submit just one? or do we do our own poll and then submit that best one?  :dunno:

All this info will be in the post once worked out.  I'll look at what we had for rules last year and modify them slightly.

I believe a post is being made for the rules now. I have to respond as to how I am going to help handle the addresses and money for the shipping. The details are being worked out right now. When you place an order, you will hit my email tab and you will be giving all the correct info to me and how payment is being made. Once funds clear, I forward info for purchase and shipping. An account is going to be made to pay the printing fees.

What is the likely cost of the calendars once completed?

Also, my $.02 worth is that collecting money for all the calendars seems like a logistical nightmare unless you get some extreme price break.  You could use some site like http://www.lulu.com/en/products/calendars/ where you create/upload the calendar, set a price and anyone who wants one makes their own order.  The calendars are printed on demand.  I've used their service before for other projects (not calendars) and have seen many club/show calendars listed.

Just a thought.

How many calendars were sold in 2008?  Just curious to the number.  Were they shipped via U.S. Mail, and at what cost for the postage?  I may be able to obtain a better postage rate, no promises, but I can look into it.

You can find information for the new calendar here: http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=48725.0

As far as money goes we never really had any problems collecting payment.  Payment is sent in and the calendar is sent out.
Postage was $1.48 for one and then worked its way up depending on how many were sent.  Multiple calendars got shipped in the flat rate envelope for $4.80 (something like that).

While it may be easy to do the lulu thing, the price is much higher than if we ordered our own.  Last year we ended up ordering 120 calendars plus some overage.  The cost was down to about $8 per calendar if I recall.

This years price is not yet final, but it will be very reasonable.
