Bucket Seat installation...
« on: August 16, 2008 - 11:35:59 PM »
Hey guys,
got a stupid question... :banghead:
I am installing my bucekt seats, and i have the seat tracks, the black rubber/plastic spacer, and the plated nut with the serrated washer.
So far so good... :swaying:
here is the stupid question:  where does the balck rubber/plastic spacer go? :pullinghair:
doesn't really make sense to put it above the floorboard on the mounting stud, since any cushioning will be done by the carpet. :clueless:
do I put it under the floorboard, between the floorboard and the serrated washer and nut?  doesn't seem to make much sense there, though.... :dunno:
maybe it is late, but i am stumped on this right now... :bricks1:
any help would be great!
thanks,
PHC

it goes on top of the carpet on the stud & raises the seat 1/2" or so

Me too, I don't remember any "rubber/plastic spacers". How many are there (4 per seat/2 per seat) and are they also used with a 6-way?

Not that this will help much, but I have 2 small stacks of washers on the back 2 studs of my 6-way seat.
