How I Spent My Summer Vacation
« on: August 11, 2008 - 09:05:11 PM »
On Friday I went to the Nats...to look for some parts.

On Saturday I went to the Nats...to look for some parts.

On Sunday I went to the Nats...to look for some parts.

I'm dating myself by paraphrasing some Cheech and Chong from Big Bambu but looking back over the past weekend that really was how it mostly went at the show for me :grinyes: In between I got scorched by the sun again, had steaks thursday and friday, mixed in several Buuuuud Lights of varing sizes, and even had some pity thrown at me when our Hooters Girl Rachel struck a pose with me Saturday  :cooldancing: :smokin:

It was a big plus getting to meet up with folks Saturday at noon as well as a brief chat with 70Challrtse as I was gawking at the cars under the Judging Tent. Thanks for answering my questions Ron :)

New repro chrome inner door lock levers and hood to radiator seal from Harden's

New repro rear seat covers, front bucket seat foams, and vinyl top from Legendary

New repro 15 x 7 Chrome Magnum 500s, center caps, and lug nuts from Specialty Wheels Ltd.

A set of rechromed rear bumper guards from Bumper Boyz

A good used set of spring brackets

Dropped off my tail light bezels with Bill at Special Ts

I rode up thursday with the owner of the shop that's doing my Challenger and his main shop supervisor\mechanic. We brought with us a 70 RR completed for a fellow from Ontario who had ridden down with some of his friends to drive it back.
