automatic brake pedal spring

Does anyone have a pic or know how the spring that hooks to the brake pedal linkage and pedal frame assembly in the interior of the car gets hooked up?

The spring hooks to the pin that hooks to the pb booster and is connected to the brake pedal linkage.  Not sure how the top end of the spring hooks to the pedal support which is bolted to the dash and thru the firewall.

I had trouble remembering where that spring went myself. I looked at multiple cars that did not have it, and then I finally remembered how it goes. I can send you a picture of how it mounts if you need it but it will take me a few days. I just put the car away for the week and don't have easy access to the driver side. It may be tough to get the picture from the pass side but I'll give it a try.

As many of these that I have taken apart, I can't picture a spring under the dash inside the car :clueless:

Brake pedal, brake pedal rod swivel, brake pedal rod is on the back uof the booster on the firewall. That has a cone spring on it with rubber seal over it. Is that the spring your talking about?

the brake pedal booster rod is attached by a pin to the brake pedal linkage.  The pin has a grove in it that a spring hooks to then hooks up to the pedal support frame.

This spring is only found on disc brake boosted cars with this special linkage on them :2thumbs:

I got a box full of booster parts off my 74 challenger. Did you find the spring or do you need me to go digging in the box?

I have the pictures you need for the spring attachment. I can Email them to you if you like. Your address is hidden. Right now I cannot get them resized to post. I am computer illiterate and have zero patience for stuff that does not work easy. I have already screwed around for an hour and am giving up.
I apologize to everyone for my bad attitude. i'll try another day when I am less frustrated and have more time.
I left my rant for everyones amusement. I think I figured it out.
