What do you think? We are going to pick it up Saturday. We are thinking about driving it 180 miles home...

Looking good!!

I would check it all out, like tires, belts, fluids first but I bet it makes it 180 miles no problem    :2thumbs:

We aren't sure yet. I'm trying to talk him into my 360 and wheels so I can move on to a 408 and some 17s :) I think we might just drive for awhile.

That's great!!  Looks like a fine car. Now I'm not the only one on an E body board with an A body.  I just love those little cars as they are a blast to cruise in.

That looks like it will be a great project car!  Tell your dad congrats on what seems to be a good deal.  I'll have to pull up some photos of the Gold Duster my neighbor/body man restored.

My ex-wife had one almost like that before but it was a crappy green color. Lots of potential but you have some work ahead to put an 8 in. Probably has that spindly little 7 1/4 rear for one. Don't follow anyone in a newer car too close with those stock 1973 brakes or you might be looking for some front fenders and a radiator too.
