Restoration or Body Shop?

Hello, we are looking to have our Cuda repainted and don't know if a restoration shop would be better than a body shop. The car is straight (minor door dings) and from what we can tell, been painted at least once before. Is it better to take this to a restoration shop or body shop for a complete paint job?

that would depent on the quality of them both,  wouldn`t it?     If they would both be good , I`d probably go to the bodyshop if there was no welding to be done, and go resto if there were...

There are a lot of questions you should ask. What kind of budget are you working with? What level of quality body/paint work do you want done; laser straight show car, high quality show car, weekend cruiser, daily driver? How long are you willing to have the car in the shop to get done? If there is one thing that I have learned in my years of working on classic cars is body work and paint is one of the most difficult things to do and getting quality work done and finding a quality shop is no easy task.
