what is my rad support coming from?

My chally is said to be # matching but the only stamped sequence that I found on the radiator support does not match VIN. See enclosed pics.
So is it a support from another car or maybe there are several #s stamped on the support and I missed the one I should look for?
The one on the picture was o the front, passenger side.

looks like a part number to me not a sequence number, should be on drivers side

Definitely no other # on the outside (towards the bumper). Even if it was stamped from the inside, there should be an illegible mark on the other side. Anyone can posta picture of that #? Was it always on the drivers side?

it might be on the inside and the radiator may hide it.

The number is stamped on the top of the rad support as shown in the picture above.

  The number you are looking at might be a part number?  The VIN sequence should be stamped on the top driver side of the core support.  It could be illegible under several layers of paint if you don't see anything obvious.

look between the radiator and the support, thats where mine was

I didn`t find it till I removed the paint...the numbers were not deep...

The radiator support VIN number location had no "set" specific place.

Most are found either on the top or back side, from the midline of the car to way over by the battery.

I have seen some that were hidden below the radiator coolant sticker as well, so feel for bumps under it.

If you do not find a number at all, it may have been hit & repaired before. They used to sell the complete radiator support as an assembly for collision repair.

The front rediator support is stamped in the inside ofr the front.You can see it best if tr radiator is removed but you can see it by looking down underneath the top rail inside.

See the pic below. This is where you will usually find the VIN stamped in the radiator support..either on the top flange, or on the side facing the radiator.

Will check it when the car comes back from customs depot. I'm 90% sure I closely inspected the marked areas but found nothing

My superrbird had the numbers covered by a thin layer of bondo (for what reason I'll never know as the radiator support was never hit) and you could not see them until a later owner restored the car and the numbers were uncovered.
