Throttle Cable Setup on bulkhead....
« on: August 26, 2008 - 03:20:08 PM »
Hey guys,
I bought a new (supposed to be correct) throttle cable from one of our more reputable dealers (I think it is right)... :2thumbs:
The car is a 1970 Challenger....
well, when I try to install the cable, the square plastic male end is too small for the square hole in my firewall.... :pullinghair:
Was there a number of different connectors for the throttle to connect to the firewall?   :dunno:
since the hole is sqaure with a tab, I don't think the previous owner 'fabricated' or midified anything. :banghead:
Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

thanks in advance!

The hole in the firewall should be a square hole with small cutouts on the left and right side.
