B body 6 pack hood scoops on Chally hoods

Ok, I know this has been discussed before, and I searched quite a bit for it. Sadly, almost all the pictures are gone from server crashes. I'd like to know who's got one (and pictures if you do), and who made it. I can only find two places, unlimited products  and US body, that can/will make them. Neither has a picture of the complete hood though. I've also seen the hood scoops offered separately, but I'm a little concerned about grafting a fiberglass scoop onto my steel hood. And I contacted playback, their metal 6 pack scoops are out of my budget  .

Any thoughts? MEK?

My hood was altered before I bought the car. It is indeed a fiberglass scoop grafted to the steel hood. I re-did the bondo around it a few years back to make it look better, but it isn't perfect. I'm not sure where the scoop came from. I can E-mail you pics if you are interested.

I would just find a Glass T/A hood and keep your painted hood in case you want to change it back.  Challenger T/As had the best hood of any Muscle mopar IMO and also the most effective for ram air.  The Six Pack hood scoops on steel hoods can crack and look bad and the glass Six Pack hoods have a tendancy to "inflate" as you go down the road.  That has to be bad for aerodynamics and good for cracking ect

To answer your question though, I have one of those '69 style Six Pack hood scoops in my attic if you need it

Below is a picture of my dad's car from when he bought it. The hood is steel with a fiberglass scoop on it, it didnt look too bad when it was taken off but now has some cracking where the fiberglass and steel meet. The hood was replaced with the r/t hood from my car, so its sitting in the garage right now....if you're interested in it at all, I could ask my dad if he would like to sell it.

Thanks guys, thats pretty much what I figured. I really don't think I want to cut up my flat hood to graft a fiberglass scoop onto it, and as I mentioned the metal scoop from Playback is more than an entire fiberglass hood. And of course the fiberglass hoods have their own problems. I like the T/A hoods too, but I actually prefer the B-body scoop, so I guess I'll keep looking at options.

Killer- I'm interested in it, would allow me to keep from cutting up my hood and still have it fit right. Let me know if he would like to sell it. I'm not really in a hurry on this, so no pressure.
