So you just replaced the case with the internals from the other trans?  Not too bad if that was the case.  New converter, header, starter and trans case.

I know a dude who lost a good chunk of his foot when the flywheel let go on him at the track.  LONG time ago.  Sucker chewed right through the floor.

I have a stock 904 converter here donated from a member that will be going in soon. I spent $650 on the Dynamic converter, which is a "Good" converter in my book...I'm done spending money on the $(*&% automatic!   :eek4: :biggrin:

For all we know somebody along the line dropped it on the ring gear and cracked it before putting it in. It's not under stress going down the track and it's only function is to turn the motor over with the starter.  :dunno:

Should be around 650-700 HP

Did the rearend get hurt?  What about the driveshaft / u joints ?
