318 noisy lifter(s)
« on: June 11, 2009 - 10:52:42 AM »
so my truck has a noisy lifter or 2 i suspect. Im wondering if it would be as simple as replacing them? or should i suspect anything else? Any good source for stock lifters?

I have some that i used with my Racer Brown cam that were new and have maybe 500miles or so on them. Im assuming it wouldnt be a good idea to use them over....

And should i replace all depending on price or just the noisy one? i havent pulled the valve covers yet.

thanks Chryco, i thought of that but it doesnt seem to get worse as i accelerate. The oil pressure is good too. I will check to make sure that the manifolds are tight.
