No my dad went to the original Laramie, Wyoming campus. Lord I wish they had a campus here, I would most likely be enrolled right now. But Wyotech does come to some of the larger car events here to recruit students. I am sure my dad would have gone to UTI had it been here at the time.

Yea, I think I would rather be in Texas than in Whyoming. I want to lear all the fabricating also, I am pretty sure UTI offers it. If not I could always go to Wyotech for further experience.

Wild Cat & Lonestar,

Thank you guys for all of your help with info about Texas. I have actually found a school that specializes in classic car resto, and custom painting here in Ohio. It is actually 2 hours away from me. I can get an apartment there through the school, and I can come home on the weekends. I have given this a lot of thought. I have an uncle who I am very close to, he is 85 and has cancer. Although you would never know his age, or that he has cancer by looking at him. I also have a buddy my age that has cancer. I help these guys out a lot, as I realize they are to sick to do what they once could. I just feel at this time I could not leave them. If something happened, and I was'nt around or could not make it back in time I would never forgive myself. Never know though, I still have some thinking to do. Anyway thanks guys for your help and information....Chris

Glad we could help.    I agree that if you can find a school closer to home with a friend and uncle that are ill that would be best. No matter what your decision is I am sure everything will work out great for you.  Keep us posted, on not only your plans but your friends/uncles health.
