Hey Rick,

Welcome aboard.  Truly enjoyed meeting you at Old Town, and the highlight of the night was the evening "Cruise."  Hope you find the time to stay awhile and share your experience and expertise with us.  Think you can take a few more pics as I know the guys on this site live for pictures and would love to see a few more of yours

Guys, this guy's Cuda sounds as nice as it looks and the engine bay is pretty clean.  I just found out about the weekend "Cruises" at Oldtown.  Saturday nights are classic car nights and there are a number ofnice looking cars - even on rainy nights.  The best part is the "parade" down Oldtown's main street where the crowds are stacked up 3 - 4- 5 deep just to see the cars in motion.  You should have seen all of the thumbs up Rick, his pink car, and I got from the crowd - especially the ladies of all age groups (not bad for the egos of a couple of not-so-young car guys in a not so msculine colored car).

Again, welcome aboard and hope to see more of you in the future.

Hey Mike, you know the pink is a you either love it or hate it color!  I have found that many women really like it.  I think they like it more because a man really drives a pink car!  There are a few people at old town that really like the car as you found out during the cruise.  Then of course the "macho men" come down off their high when they hear it running.  They all want you to spin the tires.  But, I don't think my car can do that ;).  The cruise is a lot of fun, I guess it is the closest thing most of us will ever get to having our car in a parade at Disney World!
I attached a picture of the car launching at the Virginia Motorsports Park during the IHRA Division 1 bracket finals, which we won by the way.  I also attached a picture of the engine compartment at your request!

Good 60' times! I'm wondering what's going on in the leaf spring area of your car. Can you post some info. on the traction devices, or is it stock?

Looks to me like Super Stock springs.  You can tell in the burnout the body is more or less at rest but the pic of the launch shows the rear of the car going up and the rear axle going down. (A big gap opened up between the top of the slick and the wheelwell lip)

Nice action pics

Those are stock 426/440 springs with a pinion snubber.  I had about a 1/2 clearance between the snubber and the body.  Now I have caltracs though.  I don't have any launch pictures with the CalTracs.  I don't know what it is doing with them. :clueless:
