Looks like I am finally getting to have my Challenger back again
« on: September 26, 2008 - 12:38:13 AM »
Well it looks like I have sold my SRT 4. Of course I don't believe anything is set in stone until it occurs, but the guy is flying out next week with cash so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This means that I will be able to go up to Redding after and bring it down to the Bay Area for my daily driver. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself, I use to drive that car (the one in my avatar) everyday while I was in high school and after I graduated I bought my first SRT 4 to commute with and since then I don't think I have put 1000 miles on the car, mostly to shows and weekend fun. However before I can bring it back down to the Bay Area I kind of have to put it back together. I need to remove the 3.91 gears and replace them with a set of 3.23, I need to install my new spark plug wires, I kind of removed the exhaust and so I have new headers, Magnaflow mufflers and pipes to install, and then finally I need to replace the transmission filter and pan gasket. So it looks like I will be making a day trip to Redding on Saturday, hopefully I will be able to get all of this done in one day. Shouldn't be an issue but anything is possible. Then if I'm lucky the guy will come and get my SRT before Friday so that Friday (my scheduled day off for next week and my 25th birthday) I can go up to Redding and bring my car back. That would be the ultimate birthday present to myself. Anyways just thought I would share my excitement with everyone.
