727 Trans
« on: May 02, 2004 - 09:35:02 PM »
I have a 727 Trans that I had rebuilt about 8 yrs ago and was never put in a car or fluid put in it. It still turns freely and has no grinding sounds. Do you think it will still be OK to use without rebuilding again? Also what transmission is part # 3681191. Can't find it anywhere. Thanks

not even going to guess , assuming it is kept warm & dry it would think it will be ok , but if an moisture has been inside valves could stick etc ,
I would pull the pan & see if there is any rust if there is no rust try it
