Temp gauge wiring help

Hello,
Can someone tell me the temp gauge wire color from gauge to sending unit. I tried to follow the FSM that I have but it just shows the wire connection in a bulk run rather that separate. Oh yeah, it for a '73 Barracuda

I had another reply with violet.  
How can I re-wire the guage using a separate wire? Does the original wire run through the fuse block the to the sending unit in the Water pump housing?? If so, which fuse is it attached to?

sorry- I looked at a old harness and someone had changed it- looked at the manual book and it is violot.

well you can feed another wire from the sending unit to the firewall connector- it is # 21 on the block- if correct- look at the right hand connector block- upper right side- the same violet colored wire.

there is no real fuse for just the sending unit- it shares the same voltage of 5 volts from a limiter on the back of the dash. the fuse for it is the accessory fuse #6 which is 20 amp fuse.

it also would power the air cond.clutch or rear def.

I will look at it on Friday. I will try a new wire for a test. I think I will just put an aligator clip on the test wire and connect it to the gauge and sending unit to see if this works.
