Voting early
« on: September 26, 2008 - 02:37:39 PM »
I am not asking who you are voting for so please do not start that debate in this thread.  I just want to know which states are allowing you to vote early instead of in November.  For example, Georgia started voting this week so that we do not have to take off work in Nov.  Anyone else able to do that?

I changed to vote-by-mail last year, so I can vote as soon as I get my ballot - about two weeks before Election Day.  I'm pretty sure who I'll vote for for President, but will probably wait until the weekend before to actually fill it out and put it in the mail - just in case something comes to light to make me change my vote.  I don't recall if it has to be postmarked or received by Election Day.

Virginia does in fact have early voting this year and is now considered a swing state. Virginia historically votes republican even though we have a democratic governor. I'm voting for Moparal!!!!

Nebraska has absentee voting, you can apply if you are actually here or not. I suggest doing the absentee ballot if you can. Voting lines will be long, I have no time.

You are voting for the wrong person. Do you really believe they have you in thier best intrest. McBama just says what McBama wants you too hear.
